Tributes have been paid for reality TV star Jake Hall after it was confirmed today he had died in Majorca at the age of 35. Police were called to the address in Santa Margalida, in the north of Majorca at 7.30am local time.

An autopsy is due to take place in the coming hours in the Majorcan capital, Palma, while the ongoing investigation is being carried out by the Civil Guard. Jake’s former partner and mum to his daughter, Misse Beqiri, has shared a statement following the tragic death. Misse and Jake welcomed their daughter, River, in November 2017.

Misse’s representatives shared in a statement to the Mirror: “At this time, Misse’s focus is on supporting and protecting their child as they come to terms with this devastating loss. The family are asking for privacy, compassion and respect while they grieve privately.”

The couple had been engaged in May 2018 before they broke up shortly after. Jake was served with a restraining order for 28 days but was not arrested or charged with any criminal offences.

Earlier this week, Jake posted his final message to social media. He said: “Life is b******* sometimes but I’m gonna try remember the good things – looking through things – I’m just making art – in many forms.”

He showed off his outfit for the camera and shared another clip of his daughter dancing. His post featured The Rolling Stones’ Beast of Burden playing over the video.

Following his death, TOWIE released a statement saying: “Jake was a part of the TOWIE family for a number of years and we send our very deepest sympathies to his family and friends following today’s very sad news.”

Jake appeared in TOWIE between series 14 and 17 after joining as Chloe Lewis’ ex in 2015. He left the show a year later to focus on his clothing brand Prevu.

After more than six successful years which saw his clothes being worn by the likes of Bella Hadid and Romeo Beckham, the brand entered administration in 2022 when JD Sports Fashion sold it to Frasers Group.

He launched an exciting new label called By Jake Hall in 2022. In 2023, Jake joined a band called Yours Collective and they released their first single Calling that March.

A spokesperson for the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office said: “We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities.”
