The mother of influencer Klaudia Zakrzewska has shared a heartfelt tribute to her “precious” daughter, who passed away six days after being struck by a vehicle outside a nightclub in central London.

Klaudia, from Essex, was hit by a car on Argyll Street in Soho at 4.30am on April 19. The 32-year-old, who went by the username Klaudiaglam, was taken to hospital but sadly died on Saturday (April 25).

Gabrielle Carrington – a 29-year-old former X Factor finalist – had appeared in court last Tuesday (April 21) charged with attempted murder. The Metropolitan Police confirmed on Saturday that the charge would be updated to murder following Klaudia’s death.

A GoFundMe page established last week in the name of Kinga, Klaudia’s mum, had described her as “in a coma and desperately fighting for her life”. In a post on Monday, Kinga wrote: “My precious daughter has gained her wings and is now at peace among the angels. She brought so much love, joy, and light into our lives, and that light will never fade.”

She added: “As we navigate this unimaginable loss, I am committed to giving my beautiful angel the farewell she deserves, a service filled with love, dignity, and the grace that reflects who she was.”, reports the Mirror.

“The funds raised will go toward her funeral arrangements, ensuring she is laid to rest in the most meaningful and special way possible… Part of the donations will help cover legal fees as I pursue the best possible representation to fight for her and her memory.”

Klaudia’s mother has also expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love and support the family has received throughout this “incredibly difficult time”. As of this report, the fundraising appeal has raised over £26,000.

Alongside the murder charge, Carrington, of Broadfield Road, Manchester, is also facing allegations of dangerous driving, drink driving, grievous bodily harm with intent and actual bodily harm. A 58-year-old man also suffered life-changing injuries as a result of the incident, while a third woman suffered a minor wrist injury.

Carrington reached the X Factor live finals in 2013 as one of the three members of Miss Dynamix and currently has more than 365,000 followers on Instagram under the handle RIELLEUK. She did not enter any pleas during a court hearing last week and will next appear at the Old Bailey on May 19.
