Sally met her husband on the Coronation Street set in 2017
Coronation Street’s Sally Carman has shared several holiday snaps with her husband. The Abi Webster star is currently at the centre of the drama on the ITV soap as she is engaging in a lustful affair with her husband’s brother Carl Webster. The soap star joined the cast in 2017 and continues to be one of the main characters on the cobbles.
Abi has had a turbulent time since she arrived in Weatherfield. She was quick to make a mark on other residents following the tragic death of her son Seb. Abi’s trauma was brought back to the surface last year after Mason Radcliffe’s fatal stabbing.
More recently, Abi has faced immense stress as her husband Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) announced the devastating news that he had been diagnosed with cancer. Abi stood by his side throughout his chemotherapy journey and the Weatherfield mechanic has since been given the all-clear.
Amid the worry. Abi’s intense emotions seemed to be expressed in the form of lust towards another man. She found herself falling for Kevin’s brother Carl. Played by Jonathon Howard, Carl Webster only arrived on the cobbles a few months ago but was quick to ruffle feathers.
Thankfully, Sally’s life away from the cameras is a lot less turbulent and she is happily married to one of her co-stars. Sally tied the knot with Joe Duttine, who potrays Tim Metcalfe on the soap, in 2022.
The 44-year-old actress regularly updates on her busy life away from the screen. She recently shared a roundup of photos from a stunning holiday to Greece with Joe.
She captioned the post: “Santorini sun”. She posted several gorgeous snaps to her 165,000 followers on Instagram, from beautiful selfies by the sea to a cosy sunset picture with her husband.
Sally and Joe’s Coronation Street co-stars rushed to the comments to send their love. Sue Devaney, who plays Sally’s on-screen sister-in-law Debbie wrote: “Ooooooh I want to hug you in all that cuteness of yours!! Stunning stylish sexy Sal in Santorini! So beautiful xx.”
Samia Longchambon, who plays Maria Connor, said: “Gorgeous every bit!” with a heart eyes emoji. Natalie Anderson (Danielle Silverton) wrote: “Beautiful!” while Sally Ann Matthews (Jenny Connor) added: “Glorious x.”
One soap fan said: “Lovely photo of you Sally. Enjoy yourself.” A second wrote: “Oh wow” with heart eyes emojis.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday’s at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX
