Hollyoaks has released an official Six Weeks of Summer trailer and it’s safe to say the Channel 4 soap is about to be shaken to its core as Jez Blake’s next victim is “revealed”

Hollyoaks’ Ste Hay is gobsmacked as Dillon Ray drops a huge bombshell

Hollyoaks fans are in for a treat if the brand new Summer trailer is anything to go by.

The temperature is rising in the village, but not everyone will survive to see the Autumn.

The official Six Weeks of Summer promo gives a sneak peek into forthcoming plotlines, including the first glimpse of Fraser Black Snr (John Middleton), also known as Froggy.

A tense face-off between Froggy and his granddaughter ‘Clary Dary’ Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix) unveils his quest to reunite his family.

In another twist, Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey) takes a gamble by exposing Clare’s exploitation scheme, resulting in his criminal sisters Clare and Grace Black (Tamara Wall) ending up in prison.

He’s prepared to start anew with Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) and turn over a new leaf, but a menacing threat hints at trouble on the horizon, reports the Mirror.

Elsewhere, Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass), a recovering addict, has been relying on the Hay family for support after moving in with them and reigniting his relationship with Lucas Hay (Oscar Curtis).

However, in an unexpected turn of events, Dillon admits to Lucas’ dad Ste that he has feelings for him. But how will the taken-aback father respond?

Villagers are set to don their finest attire to the sound of wedding bells, but as Jez Blake’s (played by Jeremy Sheffield) true nature begins to show, his soon-to-be spouse John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) has a meltdown and wreaks havoc on the allotment in a drunken stupor.

Hollyoaks serial killer Jez Blake is up to his old tricks

The question on everyone’s lips is whether John Paul will uncover the truth before saying ‘I do’, or if Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart), Jez’s mistress, will reveal their affair at the altar.

Meanwhile, Jez seems to accept his dark side, justifying his “sacrificial” deeds with a smile, even as Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) looks on in horror, as hinted in the latest trailer. It appears that despite being from the same family tree, Sienna is nothing like Jez.

Could Sienna Blake be her dad’s next victim?

Jez confides in his mother Martha Blake (Sherrie Hewson) about his fear of being brought down, sparking concerns that his next target could be his own flesh and blood.

In other news, The Dog in The Pond pub is gearing up for its grand reopening after extensive refurbishments. However, Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) is preoccupied with his quest to find Bobby Costello (Zak Sutcliffe), unaware that his partner Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) is secretly sheltering her son. As Tony’s obsession grows, one can’t help but wonder if it will lead him into peril.

Hollyoaks airs Monday to Wednesday on E4 at 7pm and first look episodes can be streamed Channel 4 from 7am
