ITV viewers were left in disbelief on Tuesday as the show was thrown into chaos

This Morning returned to our screens on Tuesday (8 July) with Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard taking over presenting duties.

Bringing viewers the latest in news and lifestyle advice, they were accompanied throughout the show by regulars such as Lisa Snowdon and Dr Zoe Williams.

Natalie Anderson took over Tuesday’s competition segment, beaming live from Mykonos directly to Cat and Ben in the studio, via a video link.

Broadcasting live from a boat, Natalie enthusiastically shared details of This Morning’s latest viewer competition; however, proceedings swiftly descended into pandemonium when the boat began rocking wildly.

“Asbolutely beautiful here in Mykonos, one of Europe’s most popular summer destinations,” proclaimed Natalie. “Yesterday was beach vibes, today we’re cruising. Please, just take a look at these views!” reports Wales Online.

Her report went on: “It is amazing, the sea is sparkling, the buildings are so white, it is incredibly glamorous here and it’s the perfect place to tell you all about our huge competition.”

The actress and TV star then found herself trying to maintain her professional demeanour as the boat encountered a massive wave, sending her and the crew off-kilter.

“That was a huge wave!” Natalie exclaimed, laughing amidst the turbulence, while back in the studio, Cat and Ben looked on in astonishment.

Despite the shaky conditions, Natalie managed to wrap up the segment with poise, while her colleagues on the boat tried to steady the ship.

Later in the show, she linked up again with Cat and Ben via video to run through the competition details once more, prompting Ben to express his earlier concerns about the gaffe.

Ben confessed: “I thought we’d nearly lost the whole crew!” as Natalie reappeared on screen, taking the slip-up in her stride.

Natalie is a familiar face on This Morning and Loose Women since becoming part of the ITV family in 2015. Fans may also recognize her from her roles as Stella Davenport in The Royal and Alicia Metcalfe on Emmerdale.

In the same episode of This Morning, Cat and Ben chatted with Johnny Vegas, who dished the dirt on his latest endeavours including a brand-new TV programme, and Lisa Snowdon dropped by to dish out her top fashion advice for the summer season.

This Morning is on ITV1 weekdays at 10am and ITVX
