Stacey Solomon has shared a heartfelt update after the National Television Awards. The mum-of-five was in attendance at one of the most legendary events in the TV calendar last night. Our favourite TV stars headed to London for the evening hosted by comedian Joel Dommett.

The Sort Your Life Out presenter lives in Pickle Cottage with her husband Joe Swash. She is mum to Zachary, 18, Leighton, 12, Rex, five, Rose, three and Belle two. She welcomed her first son, Zachary, when she was 17 with her childhood sweetheart Dean Cox. She had Leighton with her ex-fiancé Aaron Barnham.

Stacey Solomon’s two TV shows, Stacey and Joe and Sort Your Life Out, were pitted against each other in the factual entertainment category at the NTA’s. The mum-of-five arrived at the ceremony with all of her family as they patiently awaited the results of their fly-on-the-wall BBC show.

However, neither of Stacey’s shows managed to win the award, which is voted for by viewers. It was Jeremy Clarkson who triumphed in the category for his Amazon Prime show, Clarkson’s Farm.

The Loose Women star was also up for the prestigious award of best TV presenter, but she lost out on the prize to Gary Lineker. The category was fierce, including Alison Hammond, Claudia Winkleman and Ant and Dec. The former Match of the Day presenter scooped up the top prize, breaking Ant and Dec’s 23 year long streak.

Stacey has since took to social media to share an update after walking away from the ceremony empty-handed. Sharing a video montage from the star-studded evening, Stacey expressed her delight over getting to spend the night with her whole family, as well as her Sort Your Life Out family.

She wrote: “It’s never about the destination. It all about who you spend the journey with. We didn’t win any awards last night but it feels like we won.

“Not only did I get to be with my whole family last night but I also got to be with our WHOLE Sort Your Life Out team and S&J team. My second family. To the moon and back families @sortyourlifeout @staceyandjoe.tv @optomen @bbciplayer. Thank you to all of you who got us there & voted we are forever grateful.”

The post was liked by thousands of fans and hundreds took to the comments to show their support. One said: “You all looked sensational what a lovely family xx.”

Another said: “Aww, this is so lovely Stacey, looks like a wonderful evening xx.” A third wrote: “Such beautiful memories, you all looked amazing.”

Stacey and Joe returned for its second series earlier this week. The couple are inviting cameras back into Pickle Cottage for a second time, featuring some very special and monumental firsts for the family.

This includes Belle’s first day of nursery, a permanent Valentine’s gift that leaves Stacey in a fit of giggles, all of the little ones learning to ski, and Zach’s 17th birthday.
