Coleen has had plenty to celebrate so far in 2025
Coleen Nolan has explained why she took a week of from work at the end of August. The TV presenter, known for being part of The Nolans, has her own podcast called “Col’s Corner”, which is used to update fans about her life off-screen.
In the latest update, Coleen told followers she had a busy August with work and baby shower organising, saying it was all “full on” she felt as though was going to “explode”. In the video uploaded to Instagram, Coleen revealed the week off was “mentally great” but “physically very hard” as she had to pick up other tasks in her personal life.
She said: “Obviously when I take a week off I have to do all the animals as Ciara’s heavily pregnant now so it’s mucking out etc.”
Coleen also had to look after her friend’s two horses and feed them. However, she said the horses were “mad” and felt she would be “trampled” to death.
In a further update on the Col’s Corner podcast, the Loose Women presenter shared she was back at work but has “done” her back in and is “crippled” by it, she is currently taking painkillers.
In a more positive tone, Coleen said: “You know, I have had that break and I just think it is good to get a break.” Before the week off, Coleen had plenty to celebrate.
Last week Coleen shared a video on social media of her daughter’s baby shower. The former singer announced back in July that she was going to be a nan again, for the fourth time.
It is set to be an exciting year for Coleen who has also revealed that her eldest son, Shane, is also expecting a child with his partner Kim. After Ciara announced her pregnancy, Coleen spoke about her future plans to build her own nursery in her home to make space for her grandchildren to come and stay.
Coleen has another son called Jake, as well as Shane and Ciara. Her eldest son Shane has a daughter named Amelia, who was born in 2016. Her other son, Jake, became a dad to a baby boy in November 2024.
Sharing clips from the baby shower, Coleen wrote: “I am so excited to share a very special video with you – @ciarafensome baby shower.
“As you know I am over the moon to be a nanny again and we celebrated in Mad Hatter Tea Party style with our nearest and dearest. My sisters were there and Ciara’s partner Max’s family joined us too which was wonderful.
“Ciara’s best pals did an amazing job setting everything up and it was such a lovely and wholesome do. Gorgeous memories made forever.”
