The Liverpool Half Marathon welcomed 15,000 runners this year
Everything you need to know
- Entries for the 2027 staging of Liverpool Half Marathon are open for runners keen to take part next year. An email was sent out on Sunday afternoon by Born To Run, the company who hosts running events across Merseyside, informing runners of next year’s event.
- It reads: “A huge well done for completing the Liverpool Half Marathon! Despite the wet and windy conditions, the atmosphere out on the course was full of energy and you were a massive part of that.
- “Today’s event came with a few updates and changes from previous years, and as with all of our events, we’ll take the learnings away.
- “With that in mind, the Liverpool Half Marathon will return to the city in 2027 on either: Sunday 14th March or Sunday 21st March.
- “Whether it was your first BTR event or one of many, you should be so proud. However, we’re having to do things a little differently this time. Because we’re currently waiting on the Premier League football fixtures to be announced, we can’t yet confirm the exact race day. The official fixtures are expected to be released in June, and as soon as they are, we’ll confirm the date.
- “Don’t worry if the date doesn’t work for you – we’ll make sure you have options available and you’ll be able to choose from a number of solutions. Right now, the best way to guarantee your place is to enter early, as the event typically sells out.”
- Entries can be secured on the BTR website at £36 for entry only, or £42 for entry plus a t-shirt.
