Coronation Street’s Alan Halsall took part in the latest Bushtucker Trial alongside Coleen Rooney after the pair put their hands up to take it on. Fans weren’t too pleased with what was in store for the celebrities.

Many compared the trial to The Dingo Dollar Challenge. This is a well-liked feature of the ITV show and it sees two celebrities complete tasks to win a sweet treat.

One fan took to X, formerly known as Twitter saying: “That was a very easy trial. More like a dingo dollar game #ImaCeleb” another said “Sorry but what happened to the actual scary and hard trails, you would think this is for dingo dollars not stars.”

More unhappy fans slammed the trial, with viewers saying “sorry but that trial looks more like a dingo dollar in-between challenge.”

When Alan and Coleen arrived at the trial area they were told they had to transport the ‘jungle nasties’ into a wheelbarrow below a platform. Alan started up top, using a tray which was positioned around his neck to catch all the jungle nasties and send them down to Coleen who was waiting below.

Coleen had to transport the waste in the wheelbarrow around the farmyard to the weighing scales. The more weight they added to the scales. It wasn’t long before there was a miscommunication between the two, as with the distance between them they couldn’t quite hear one another

But after the two of them put the graft in, they won all 10 stars for camp, with a minute to spare. They had campmates thinking they had only won two stars which led to a delighted camp at teatime when the truth came out that they would be eating a full meal.
