We’ve said goodbye to a number of iconic nightclubs in Liverpool over the years
Merseyside has been the home of many famous nightclubs over the years. Although some have survived the test of time, others have closed their doors, leaving behind a wealth of fond memories.
Merseyside’s vibrant nightclub scene extended beyond the city centre. Across the region, popular venues drew huge crowds, such as Bootle’s Quadrant Park, which achieved nationwide fame as a superclub in the late 1980s. Similarly popular was Bromborough’s “The Ritzy”, which attracted thousands of clubbers before its eventual closure in 2007.
Liverpool has seen many of its venues close their doors over the years, but we’re challenging you to see how many of the city’s lost nightclubs you can remember.
We have created a quiz to test your knowledge of Liverpool’s lost nightclubs. Do you recognise them from the pictures?
