Lancashire Constabulary’s Road Crime Team used Tactical Pursuit and Containment (TPAC) on the motorway
A BMW driver leading a hectic chase was halted by police on the M6 after being “boxed” in. The incident unfolded near Preston when Lancashire Constabulary’s Road Crime Team deployed tactical pursuit and containment (TPAC) tactics on Tuesday evening, July 15.
Police detained the driver, who was wanted for three offences up in Scotland. When officers searched the car they found a puppy in the vehicle, which sported an “I score high on my drugs test” sticker on the trunk, reports Lancs Live.
The driver was arrested at the scene and slammed by police on social media as being ‘one sick puppy’. Sharing the events on X, a spokesperson said: “The driver of this BMW was one sick puppy as he was boxed in using #TPAC tactics on the M6 near to Preston by #RoadCrimeTeam.
The driver was arrested as he was wanted x3 by our colleagues in Scotland.” For the latest news and breaking news visit liverpoolecho.co.uk/news.
