Police are struggling to identify a man who died after he was found outside Liverpool’s Passport Office in Liverpool city centre. At around 4.35am on Saturday, May 10, North West Ambulance Service reported a man was found on Old Hall Street after suffering a medical episode.

He died a short time later in hospital. Despite enquiries being carried out by Merseyside Police, he is yet to be identified more than a week on from his death. Last week, police released details about the man.

The man is described as white, 6ft tall, of large build, aged around late 20s to early 30s, with brown hair and a brown beard.

‌He was wearing a dark North Face T-shirt with diamond patterns, grey jogging pants, black jacket and dark Nike trainers.

‌Detective Inspector Mike Fletcher previously said: “Sadly the man died following a medical episode and his death is being treated as not suspicious.

“However, we are continuing with our enquiries to identify him so we can inform his next-of-kin of his death.

“If anyone thinks they know a man matching his description please contact us as a matter of urgency.”

Police had previously appealed for a man to come forward who was believed to have been with the deceased man before his death, but the force told the ECHO he was unable to further assist with their enquiries.
