Coronation Street viewers are convinced they know who Daniel Osbourne will end up with
Coronation Street fans are convinced they’ve figured out who Daniel Osbourne will ultimately choose in his love triangle with Bethany Platt and Daisy Midgeley – and it’s not either of them. In recent months on the cobbles, Daniel (played by Rob Mallard) has found himself torn between his girlfriend Bethany (Lucy Fallon) and his ex Daisy (Charlotte Jordan).
Viewers may remember that Daniel was once engaged to Daisy – until she had an affair with Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott). Following their break-up, Daniel moved on with Bethany, while Daisy began a relationship with Ryan. However, Daisy’s romance with Ryan soon fizzled out.
While things seemed to be going well for Daniel and Bethany, in September, Bethany underwent a botched cosmetic procedure which resulted in her needing a stoma bag. This has put pressure on her relationship with Daniel. The plot thickened last week when a drunken Daniel crashed Debbie Webster’s car. Daisy quickly stepped in to help Daniel escape from the accident scene, reports Lancs Live.

In the process, Daisy nearly hit Shona Platt (Jacob Roberts) with Debbie’s car before setting the vehicle on fire. After confessing to Daniel, he was thankful for her assistance. However, one thing led to another and after another argument with Bethany, Daniel and Daisy ended up sleeping together. Daniel was quick to regret his actions, leaving Daisy devastated.
Daisy Midgeley may have moved on with Kit Green as portrayed by Jacob Roberts, but it seems that both she and Daniel Osbourne still harbour feelings for each other. Yet amidst this love triangle playing out in the soap, Corrie enthusiasts are convinced that Daniel is destined for an unexpected romantic twist. An avid viewer took to a Coronation Street Facebook fan group stating: “I hope Daniel ends up with neither Bethany or Daisy! Didn’t half annoy me!”
The sentiment sparked discussion among fans who weighed in with their predictions, suggesting that Daniel might find love with either Glenda Shuttleworth, played by Jodie Prenger, or Maria Connor, brought to life by Samia Longchambon.
Comments from viewers included one saying: “Maria? I’ve always thought they look well suited.” While another chimed in with: “Hope he ends up with Glenda she will put him right.” Moreover, another fan concurred: “Yes to this! Daisy and Bethany are too good for him!”
