A man is wanted for failing to show up to court. John Rimington, 21, from Ainsdale, was due to attend Liverpool Crown Court in connection with a Section 18 assault but did not attend.
Rimington is described as 6ft 2in tall, with a medium build, short auburn hair and green eyes. He has links with Ainsdale and Southport areas.Anyone who sees Rimington is asked to contact police via @MerPolCC on X or ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre’ on Facebook with reference 24000322796 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Police are issuing wanted appeals right across the Christmas period to support the work of the Force Fugitive Team, so are askingfor help to track these people down before Christmas.
