Fans said the armchair critics will be missed as they were wished well
Gogglebox fans were gutted after Simon and Jane Minty’s show announcement. The two are renowned for their roles as armchair critics on the popular Channel 4 programme.
The two will once again welcome fans back into their homes to cast their eye on the week’s best TV on tonight’s episode. They have taken to Instagram to reveal Friday’s episode will be the last of the season.
The reality stars told followers on Instagram: “Ohhh last Gogglebox of this series tonight! But it’s a lovely show! And there will be the best of show and a Christmas special to look forward to. Thanks for watching, for being lovely and we will see you later.”
Viewers took to the comments to share their disappointment that the latest season of the Friday night TV staple is coming to an end. Lindsey said: “Absolutely gutted it’s last one. Love you guys x have a lovely Christmas.”
