Danny Jones has won I’m a Celebrity 2024
Danny Jones has been crowned King of the Jungle for 2024, with Coleen Rooney taking second place. The McFly star has been a fan favourite since he entered the jungle.
It has been three weeks since the famous faces entered camp and in that time we have seen campmates experience a rollercoaster of emotions with tears and laughter. And of course watching our favourite celebrities come face to face with snakes, spiders, crocodiles and cockroaches is always a highlight.
The ten campmates soon became twelve when finalist Reverend Richard Coles and Love Island’s Maura Higgins joined as latecomers. Some of the most entertaining moments enjoyed by viewers came from Danny. The I’m a Celeb winner took part in the show’s first BushTucker trial which provided a memorable moment. During ‘The Mausoleum of Misery’ trial a snake slithered up his shorts which led to screaming from the bandmember and an amused Ant and Dec.

One moment which campmates enjoyed was when Danny discovered a guitar in his suitcase and the celebrities were able to sing and dance. The 38-year-old treated viewers and his co-stars to a rendition of ‘Shine a Light’ by McFly. Danny was a popular figure among campmates with many of them naming him as their winner in their post-eviction interview. A close bond which viewers enjoyed was that of Danny and former boxing champion Barry McGuigan. Danny opened up about his feelings towards Barry, admitting he has replaced the “fatherly figure” in his life.
It comes as no surprise that the guitarist has won the jungle crown, he has been favourite with bookmakers for the majority of the competition from before the show even started right up until tonight. I’m A Celebrity isn’t the first reality show Danny has taken part in, and he appeared and won The Masked Singer earlier this year as Piranha. And he isn’t the first McFly star to be crowned King of the Jungle either, Dougie Poynter won the show in 2011.
