The film is the follow-up to Spider-Man: Homecoming, which was released in 2017, and Spider-Man: Far From Home, which premiered two years later in 2019.
Released in 2021, the third instalment in Jon Watts’ Spider-Man series became the 27th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
It features Tom Holland reprising his role as the iconic Peter Parker/Spider Man, alongside returning co-stars Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds.

Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, who previously portrayed Spider-Man, also made a comeback for the film’s climax, reports the Daily Record.
The storyline revolves around Peter asking Dr Strange to use magic to conceal his Spider-Man identity once again after it was exposed to the world at the end of Far From Home.
However, when the spell goes awry, the multiverse is shattered, bringing several visitors from alternate realities into Peter’s world.
No Way Home smashed all previous records, grossing a staggering $1.952 billion from a $200 million budget. It became the highest-grossing film ever released by Sony Pictures at the time, as well as the top-grossing film of 2021.
In addition to this, it became the sixth highest-grossing film of all time and the highest-grossing Spider-Man film, breaking several other records.
The film received critical acclaim for its storyline, action sequences, nostalgic elements featuring past Marvel characters, and performances.
It boasts an 8.2 rating out of 10 on IMDb from 919 thousand users and a 93% Tomatometer rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
