The Coronation Street star had swapped the cobbles for the jungle
An emotional episode of I’m a Celebrity had fans in tears this evening as friends and family were invited into camp to have a short time with their loved ones after weeks apart. One of the family members arriving in the jungle was Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall’s older brother Stephen.
Stephen was waiting for the Tyrone Dobbs star in the jungle clearing and the brothers met each other with a huge hug. One of Alan’s first questions was: “How’s Sienna?” Sienna-Rae Halsall is the daughter of Alan and his ex-wife, Lucy-Jo Hudson. Stephen told him: “Everyone’s proud of you, Sienna especially, she’s watching every night.”

When the time came to say their goodbyes, Alan gave his brother a final, long hug, and said: “Obviously give everyone my love but make sure you speak to Sienna and just tell her I miss her.”
Fans were distracted by the uncanny similarity between Alan and his brother, with all comments about the siblings saying how much they look alike. One fan posted to X: “Bloody hell I thought Richard’s brother looked like him but Alan’s is basically his twin”
Another said: “Don’t need a DNA test for Alan’s brother. #ImACeleb.” Similar comments included “Alan’s brother looks more like Alan than himself” and “Alan and his brother really are twinning”
Alan became the latest campmate to depart from the jungle tonight as him and GK Barry lost the public vote. This means the two will narrowly miss out on the much-loved Celebrity Cyclone which takes place tomorrow and the I’m a Celeb final, taking place on Sunday, December 8.
Alan said he will look back on his time in the jungle with great fondness and he has “loved every minute”. The Coronation Street star was originally meant to take part in the competition last year but was forced to pull out of the 2023 season to have major knee surgery.
Alan admitted his time was nothing like he expected, saying he met 11 amazing people when speaking to Ant and Dec. He said bonding with campmates was a “pleasant surprise”.
