I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here first hit out screens in 2002 and since has continued to be one of the biggest television series broadcast annually. There have been many memorable moments over the years from shock winners to jungle fallouts and even snake bites.
A lot has changed since the original series, more campmates now enter the Australian jungle whereas the pilot series only had eight celebrities facing camp life. Now we have 12 celebrities all battling to try get their hands on the crown.
Throughout its 22 year stint on ITV, the show has produced plenty of winners but some may be more memorable than others. It is easy to remember the first and the latest stars to have won the competition but do you know all the campmates to have been victorious in between?

Below are all the I’m a Celeb winners, from 2002 until 2023. This year another group of twelve famous faces entered the jungle with only four celebrities still remaining. Another winner will soon join the long list of winners and go down in I’m a Celebrity history after the grand final takes place on Sunday, December 8.
2002 winner – Tony Blackburn
English disc jockey Tony Blackburn won the very first series of the challenging ITV gameshow after being crowned King of the Jungle. He first achieved fame broadcasting on the pirate stations Radio Caroline and Radio London in the 1960s, before joining the BBC. He won with 55% of the final vote.
Tony Blackburn has presented his final BBC local radio show earlier this year. The 81-year-old said he had decided to leave his Sunday show on BBC Radio Berkshire, BBC Radio Oxford and BBC Radio Solent to pursue other projects.
2003 winner – Phil Tufnell
Phil Tufnell is a former English international cricketer. He played in 42 Test matches and 20 One Day Internationals for the England cricket team. He took part in series two of I’m a Celebrity and came out as the winner. Live streaming was introduced for the first time this series and was broadcast overnight on ITV2.
The former sportsman is now a TV and radio presenter. On TV was best known as a team captain on A Question Of Sport. The show was axed in 2023.
2004 winners – Kerry Katona and Joe Pasquale
Atomic Kitten singer turned television reality star Kerry Katona from Warrington won the audience over to beat favourite Peter Andre to the crown. She was a member of girl group Atomic Kitten from 1998 until her first departure in 2001.
She has since appeared on several reality shows, including Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, Fame in the Family, Celeb Cooking School, and Celebs on the Farm. This week Katie Price and Kerry Katona have revealed they are releasing a new single together.
The second 2004 instalment of I’m A Celeb started in November and saw comedian Joe Pasquale take first place. In 2018, the comedian played Frank Spencer in Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em based on the BBC sitcom on a UK tour. In 2021, he played Al in April in Paris on a UK tour opposite Sarah Earnshaw. Joe has starred in numerous Christmas pantomimes for various venues across the UK.
2005 winner – Carol Thatcher
Journalist and author Carol Thatcher, daughter of former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and husband Denis became the second woman to be crowned Queen of the Jungle. Memorably, she had to take on the Bushtucker eating trial, which saw her eat insects and kangaroo testicles.
2006 winner – Matt Willis
Busted bassist and singer Matt Willis entered the jungle after launching his his solo music career the previous year. He won ahead of Myleene Klass and Jason Donovan. One of his challenges on the show involved eating crocodile eyes.
In March 2023, Busted announced they were officially back together with a 20th anniversary tour. Next year, Busted and McFly are undertaking the ultimate battle of the bands as they go head-to-head to perform full live sets for their fans across the UK.
2007 winner – Christopher Biggins
Despite being a camp latecomer acting icon and panto star Christopher soon became a favourite among viewers. He was crowned champion, in the same year he appeared in the Big Brother house.
Christopher Biggins is currently starring as the Spirit of Dreams in the pantomime Sleeping Beauty at Woking’s New Victoria Theatre. He is also an ambassador for the Lewy Body Society, a UK charity that supports people with Lewy body dementia. In 2021 Christopher Biggins had open heart surgery to replace a valve in his heart after a health scare.
2008 winner – Joe Swash
Joe Swash was the winner in 2008, after leaving EastEnders that year. Following his victory he hosted I’m A Celeb spin-off Extra Camp and in 2010 he met wife Stacey Solomon when he hosted the spin-off show as she won the contest. The pair now have three children together.
This year, Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash landed their very own fly-on-the-wall style reality show with the BBC, called Escape To Pickle Cottage.
2009 winner – Gino D’Acampo
Celebrity chef and presenter Gino D’Acampo was crowned 2009’s winner with 83 per cent of the vote. He has since been a regular chef on hit ITV daytime show This Morning. He has presented the revived series of Family Fortunes and has also had his own ITV show, Cooking up with the D’Acampos, where he explored Italian regions with his family.
2010 winner – Stacey Solomon
Stacey Solomon’s lovable personality helped her win the 2010 series. It was through the show that she met her husband Joe Swash, who won the show two years before.
Stacey has been hugely successful since leaving the jungle and is a regular host on ITV Loose Women. She and her husband Joe Swash are filming a reality show for the BBC called Escape to Pickle Cottage. The show will offer a fly-on-the-wall look at their lives.
In 2021, Stacey announced on Instagram that the BBC had commissioned home-decluttering series Sort Your Life Out, with her presenting. In 2024, Sort Your Life Out, won the National Television Award Factual Entertainment prize.
2011 winner – Dougie Poynter
Dougie Poynter was winner of the show in 2011 during a break from playing bass for the boyband. Since winning the show, McFly have continued to release music and go on tour – and teamed up with Busted to form superband McBusted. He has also enjoyed success as a model – walking for iconic fashion label Dolce & Gabbana in fashion shows over the years.
2012 winner – Charlie Brooks
The EastEnders star quickly captured the hearts of the nation on her way to becoming Queen of the Jungle. Ashley Roberts and David Haye placed runner-up and third place respectively.
Charlie Brooks, who played Janine Butcher on EastEnders for 23 years, recently starred as the Child Catcher in a touring production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The actress is set to appear on Dancing on Ice in the New Year.
2013 winner – Kian Egan
Westlife star Kian Egan featured in the 2013 series after his band split – and went on to be crowned king of the jungle. After winning the show, he released his debut solo album which made it to number nine in the UK charts. The singer is married to actress, Jodi Albert and they have three sons together, Koa, Zekey and Cobi.
2014 winner – Carl Fogarty
Superbike champion Carl “Foggy” Fogarty was the winner of series 14. He impressively won every star in the seven challenges he faced. Carl won the competition with 59 per cent of the public vote.
Since the show, Foggy and his wife Michaela have starred in the 13-part series Bike Club, which is available on MeeTV. The show offers a unique look at UK motorcycle culture through the couple’s family home.
2015 winner – Vicky Pattison
The Geordie Shore star took home the Jungle crown after winning viewers over with her can-do attitude. Vicky Pattison continued pursuing her TV career after leaving the jungle in 2015.
In 2023, she appeared in the fifth series of the BBC show Pilgrimage, in which celebrities from different faiths walk together on an historical pilgrimage. It was filmed in Portugal, where the group followed the northern route of the Fatima Way.
2016 winner – Scarlett Moffatt
Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt won the nation’s hearts with her down-to-earth sense of humour and no-nonsense personality. She was crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2017, winning the public vote with her instant likeability. Since then, Scarlett has carved out a presenting career, appearing on Extra Camp and Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
2017 winner – Georgia “Toff” Toffolo
Made in Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo won the series on 10 December 2017. Toff proved to be a big hit with both the public and her campmates. Georgia “Toff” Toffolo is a reality TV star and started an online book club in 2017 and continues to share books she has read and loved.
2018 winner – Harry Redknapp
Harry charmed the viewers with stories about his life and love for his wife, Sandra. The former football manager was crowned King of the Jungle in 2018. Redknapp has been involved in racehorse ownership since retiring from football management in 2017. He and his wife Sandra co-wrote a book called When Harry Met Sandra. The former jungle winner has also appeared in a number of shows and podcasts.
2019 winner – Jacqueline Jossa
The actress lasted the full 23 days, and received 1st place on the 8th of December 2019, making her the Queen of the Jungle, winning with 36.97% of the vote in the top 3 and 50.61% against Andy Whyment. During her time in the jungle, she took part in a total of 10 Bushtucker Trials. The Lauren Branning star recently reprised her role on EastEnders. She is also working on a new collection for @inthestyle.
2020 winner – Giovanna Fletcher
Giovanna was a fan-favourite due to her caring attitude towards her campmates. She was the first celebrity to be crowned in the Welsh castle rather than the Australian jungle.
Giovanna is a bestselling author, podcast host, and actress. She hosts the parenting podcast Happy Mum, Happy Baby, which gained national attention when Kate Middleton appeared on it. She also hosted the Walt Disney Travel Company podcast Journey to the Magic… in 2021.
2021 winner – Danny Miller
Danny Miller won the 2021 season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! He said winning was “the best thing that’s ever happened to me, bar my son”. The Emmerdale actor formed a close friendship with co-star David Ginola, and the two shared heartwarming “bromance” scenes. Danny still plays the role of Aaron Dingle in Emmerdale.
2022 winner – Jill Scott
The show returned to the jungle after two seasons in Wales in 2022, football star Jill Scott was crowned the winner. She played for the Lionesses from 2006 to 2022. She retired after winning the European Championships with England in July 2022.
Scott has worked as a pundit for several matches, including the UEFA Women’s Champions League final and England Men’s Euros qualifying games. She was also a pundit at the 2023 Women’s World Cup.
2023 winner – Sam Thompson
Reality star Sam Thompson took home the jungle crown last year. Tony Bellew was the runner-up of the and former politician Nigel Farage placed third. He currently co-hosts the 2024 spin-off ‘I’m a Celeb Unpacked’ show with Joel Dommett and Kemi Rodgers.
