I’m a Celebrity viewers were surprised after Coleen Rooney’s admission on tonight’s episode. It came after the celebrities were discussing the most awkward places they have been recognised by fans.
Sitting around the campfire in Thursday night’s episode, podcaster GK Barry pointed out how sometimes fans are confused to discover she does “normal” things, saying: ‘Sometimes you’ll be somewhere really normal and they’ll be like, “Why are you here?”‘
Coleen agreed, saying: ‘I get that, in B&M or Home Bargains, they’ll be like, “Why are you shopping in here?”‘
McFly singer Danny Jones pointed out an even worse location to be recognised as he joked: “The worst is when you’re having a wee next to someone and they recognise you and the double looking like that.'”

Mum-of-four Coleen revealed that her footballer husband Wayne had been asked for a photo while using the urinal, adding that she thinks there are places where fans should leave celebrities alone.
She said: ‘I know that that’s happened to Wayne before in the past, he said whilst he’s been standing there having a wee someone’s said: ‘can we get a photograph?’ or ‘can I shake your hand?’ I think there’s places where it’s a no-go.”
Viewers following the show on social media platform X said they were “obsessed” with the revelation. Lady Zoe said: “Utterly obsessed with Coleen Rooney shopping at B&M and Home Bargains!”
Jade wrote: “I’m so glad the greatest stores ever aka B&M and Home Bargains are appreciated by Coleen too.” A third commented: “Coleen shopping in B&M and Home Bargains…she really is such a normal, down to earth queen.”
A fourth added: “Coleen shops in B&M & Home Bargains, she’s gone up in my estimations.” Sean said: “Coleen shopping in B&M and Home Bargains is blowing my mind.”
