Eight contestants remain in the I’m a Celeb jungle
The fourth contestant to be voted off I’m a Celebrity was DJ and TV presenter Melvin Odoom. After losing the public vote he told the rest of the camp “it’s good” and it is time to “celebrate” before hugging the campmates goodbye.
He asked Ant and Dec if he was the happiest person to leave as he joined them in the studio to watch his highlights. He took on many challenged including ‘Freight Bus’ and Friday’s ‘Tanks of Terror’ which saw him win a full house of 12 from 12 stars.
Speaking about I’m A Celebrity before he entered the jungle, the 44-year-old said: “Ant and Dec will be there, I will get to meet some really cool and talented people and so I am trying to appreciate all of those positive aspects rather than think about lying in a coffin with creepy crawlies on my face, as I know that will freak me out.”

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here fans were left concerned for Melvin Odoom over the weekend after he was seen breaking into tears in the jungle. Melvin’s hammock got completely soaked overnight, so he had to resort to sleeping in the Bush Telegraph. When voted off the DJ took it well and could be seen smiling.
Fans were surprised to see Melvin be the latest celebrity voted off and took to social media to discuss his and Oti’s friendship. One fan wrote on X: “Oti and Melvin don’t break my heart #ImACeleb” and another added “Oti losing both Tulisa and Melvin in 24 hours” with a sad face emoji.
Other commenters wrote: “Oti and melvin were my favourite duo of this series im going to miss them so bad” and “Melvin and Oti is one of the best friendships, I’ve loved watching them.”
