The fourth contestant will leave the jungle tonight
Alan Halsall has been supported by many of his Coronation Street co-stars since beginning his stint on I’m a Celebrity almost three weeks ago. The latest star to send the Tyrone Dobbs star a supportive message is Andy Whyment.
Andy, who plays the role of Kirk Sutherland on Coronation Street took to Instagram last night with a photo of Coleen and Alan covered in guts and bugs. He said: “Absolutely smashed it @AlanHalsall @Coleen_Rooney.”
Coleen Rooney and Alan Halsall smashed the latest Bushtucker Trial and secured a full house of ten from ten stars for camp. Despite a lot of communication problems between the two throughout the trial they completed it with a minute to spare.

‘The Farmyard of Fear’ saw Alan up top, using a tray positioned around his neck to catch all the jungle nasties including offal and eggs sent down to Coleen, who was waiting below. It was then be her job to transport them in the wheelbarrow around the farmyard to the weighing scales.
After getting to grips with the trial, they were quickly in the swing of things which led to all stars being won. Heading back to camp, Alan and Coleen hatched a sneaky plan to pretend they only got 2 stars, and then surprise them when the dinner came that evening.
Another Coronation Street star to address Alan’s challenge was Colson Smith. The Craig Tinker star posted a photo of Alan looking far from amused as he is surrounded by bugs and gunk. The image was captioned “How’s that golf holiday going pal?”
Alan often shares photos playing golf and one of his final posts before heading into the jungle was from an end of season golf fancy dress event. He said: “I didn’t get to play much this year, but what bunch of top, top! People !! Great night and here’s to next year”. The 42-year-old underwent ACL reconstruction surgery last year.
