Fans were excited following Alan’s comment
Coleen Rooney and Alan Halsall smashed the latest Bushtucker Trial and secured a full house of ten from ten stars for camp. Despite a lot of communication problems between the two northerners throughout the trial they completed it with a minute to spare.
‘The Farmyard of Fear’ saw Alan up top, using a tray positioned around his neck to catch all the jungle nasties including offal and eggs sent down to Coleen, who was waiting below. It would then be her job to transport them in the wheelbarrow around the farmyard to the weighing scales.
After getting to grips with the trial, they were quickly in the swing of things which led to all stars being won. Heading back to camp, Alan and Coleen hatched a sneaky plan to pretend they only got 2 stars, and then surprise them when the dinner came that evening.

The Liverpool mum told Alan: “I’ll do my best acting skills, you can mark me out of ten!” As they returned and gave their convincing performances, Alan joked to Coleen: “I’ll be getting you a job in Coronation Street before you know it!” as he added: “She’ll be the barmaid of the Rovers Return before you know it!”
Fans were thrilled at the prospect of this and rushed to social media to share their thoughts. One amusing comment said: “WAGATHA CHRISTIE TO WORK ALONG SIDE DS LISA SWAIN IN WEATHERFIELD POLICE STATION. As she replaces kit green and his incompetence the street is most definitely a lot safer with Wagatha joining the police team.”
Another noted the mum-of-four for her detective skills and added “Coleen ain’t only a good detective she can also put on act, imagine if she went in corrie they’d never be another serial killer again #ImACeleb”
Many more commenters were desperate for the proposal to become a reality. One viewer directed their comment directly to ITV, stating: @ColeenRoo in @ITVCorrie is a genius idea. Long lost sister of Carla Connor! We need this to happen in the very near future. @ITV SORT IT IMMEDIATELY!”
