Merseyside Police attended the scene after being called in the early hours of the morning
A poignant tribute has been left at the scene where a man died in Huyton. Merseyside Police were called to Huyton Hey Road yesterday morning at 12.15am.
The force received a call from someone concerned about the man’s safety. The man fell from the bridge and officers attempted CPR. However, he was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
Photographs from the road this afternoon, Friday, November 29, shows someone has paid their respects and placed flowers down on the ground in tribute to the man. Merseyside Police said the man has yet to be formally identified. A file will be prepared for the coroner.
