Liverpool moved two points clear at the top of the Champions League and UFC star Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett was in attendance
UFC lightweight Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett took aim at Kylian Mbappe following Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Los Blancos – saying Conor Bradley had the Real Madrid superstar in his ‘back pocket’. Arne Slot’s side extended their unbeaten record in the Champions League and stretched their lead at the top of the table to two points.
The Dutchman saw his side brush aside the reigning European champions at Anfield after second-half goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo. The Reds dominated their Spanish counterparts with standout performances across the pitch.
A thumping recovery tackle from Conor Bradley on Mbappe saw the L4 crowd erupt – with the challenge being reposted around the world. Liverpool fan Pimblett posted on Instagram mixing with Mike Myers and Damian Lewis claiming Bradley was player of the match against Carlo Ancelotti’s Galacticos and had Mbappe in his ‘back pocket’.

He wrote: “What a night at Anfield. @conorbradley.03 MOTM he had Mbappe in his back pocket met 2 acting legends @damianlewisreallyofficial and @mikemyers Austin Powers mars from the Swan (Old Swan) he’s a proper red.!”
Speaking after the match, Slot commented: “I think it’s always good to win a game, and especially a big game like this because you know you face so many quality players.
“For me, it would even mean more if we go into the later stages of the tournament because this is such a strange and different set-up in the Champions League that it’s difficult to judge how important these wins are.
“If we arrive in the last 16 or the quarter-finals or wherever we can arrive to and we face them again and then we are able to beat them, that would be maybe a bigger statement than this. But we are definitely happy with the win, let that be clear.”
