Lisa George has been supported by her former Coronation Street co-stars after sharing images from a cruise in the Caribbean. The actress looked stunning wearing a green dress with matching pink heels and clutch bag.
The Beth Tinker star captioned the images: “Two weeks at sea was just what the doctor ordered. Loving this cute green and pink combo… it’s giving Wicked vibes #holidayvibes #cruiseship #carribbean #pinkandgreen #wicked #cruiselife.”
It appears the 51-year-old has remained close to her former Coronation Street colleagues as many supportive comments were left on her latest Instagram post. Sally Carmen who plays the role of Abi Franklin on Corrie said: “You look gorgeous Lisa.”

Sue Devaney, who is currently playing Debbie Webster in Weatherfield added “Glowing in green! Love you and miss you lots xxxxxx.” And another former soap actor, Katie McGlynn who was renowned for the part of Sinead Tinker commented with a heart-eyed and fire flame emoji.
Earlier this year, Lisa announced she would be leaving the cobbles. after 13 years on the ITV soap the character was seen saying her goodbyes at the end of August. Following the soap exit, the actress took to social media to share her love for the role. She said: “Tonight Beth says farewell to Coronation Street after 13 truly unforgettable years. Never did I think all those years ago that two episodes would turn into over a decade of my life on screen.
“But in the blink of an eye it’s passed like no time at all… I feel honoured to have been part of such an institution for so long… the world’s first and longest running soap! What a ride it’s been.”
At the beginning of the month, Lisa opened up about an ongoing health battle she has. Lisa has been diagnosed with NAION – non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy – a condition that can cause sudden vision loss due to decreased blood flow to the optic nerve. She is partially sighted in one eye and has peripheral vision in the other.
Discussing her health on Morning Live, the soap star said: “It put the fear in me. I was really frightened because you just don’t know what the future is. I just get on with it, because what other choices do I have. I just have to look at it a different way.”
