One person was taken to hospital for treatment
A main road is currently closed following a crash involving a paramedic vehicle. Police have cordoned off Sefton Road in Litherland following the incident on Monday, November 25.
The force incident manager for Merseyside Police confirmed officers received reports of a crash involving a paramedic vehicle and a member of the public’s car at around 9.26pm.
The police spokesperson said a member of the public was taken to hospital for treatment. The nature of their injuries has not been confirmed. Sefton Road remains closed while accident investigation work is carried out.
Photos taken at the scene show a badly damaged silver vehicle and a group of officers crowded around in the road. A police sign and traffic cones have been placed along Sefton Road to alert drivers to the road closure.
