The incident occurred at the Fall Well pub at around 6pm yesterday
A row in a Liverpool city centre Wetherspoons spilled out onto the street. Would-be customers at the Fall Well pub in St Johns Shopping Centre, near Queen Square, turned rowdy after being denied service due to “appearing intoxicated”.
The incident occurred at around 6pm yesterday, Sunday November 24. A force incident manager (FIM) for Merseyside Police told the ECHO the “minor disorder” which “involved a few people” started inside the pub before continuing in the street outside. No arrests are understood to have been made and “minor injuries” were reported, the FIM said.
A Wetherspoon spokesman said: “Two customers were refused service in the pub for appearing intoxicated. When a relative of one of the customers came to take them home, an argument ensued, which briefly continued outside the pub before the customers headed off in the same direction.
