The man dropped the backpack as he hurried to get back on his bike
Merseyside Police have issued an appeal after a backpack was found containing over 100 bags of cannabis. The force took to Facebook to reunite the rucksack with it’s “clumsy” owner after it was dropped on Dales Row, Huyton on Saturday, November 23.
The bag had been dropped while the owner was hurrying to get back on his bike after being spotted with a group of men by passing officers. Police opened the abandoned rucksack and found 113 deal ready cannabis bags.
In a post they said: “The unfortunate loser dropped the bag while he was rushing to get back on his bike after being spotted by two eagle eyed Targeted Sergeants when he was dealing to a group of young males.

“Anyway, we now have your bag and after looking inside, found all your 113 deal ready cannabis bags. We really do hope this doesn’t spoil your weekend. If it does, then please be sure to come into Huyton Police Station and reclaim the goods. Please share this post far and wide so we can reunite the loser with their bag.
