Tomorrow will be Dean’s fourth consecutive trial
BBC Radio 1 host Dean McCullough took part in his third consecutive challenge tonight. The star met And and Dec at the jungle’s scientific research facility to take on the latest challenge. The trial consisted of seven different containment areas all with stars up for grabs.
The campmate told Ant and Dec he was aiming for one star ahead of the trial. He said: “I like to overpromise and underdeliver.” The celebrity made it to containment area five before calling time on the trial as he called “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here” as fish guts were poured into the compartment.

Dean admitted he was happy with four stars for camp. It was an improvement from yesterday when the camp went hungry as he and GK Barry failed to win any meals during their trial. His co-stars were more than happy with his efforts following his long run of consecutive trials. Alan and Barry ran him a bubble bath to enjoy, while Danny gave him a head massage as a reward to say well done.
Although it seems some fans may have the presenter’s fate sealed as many have taken to social media to issue a prediction. One fan said: “Mate mark my words Dean will be the first to walk and quit the show” while another guessed similar, adding “How long will it take for Dean to quit I wonder.”
Further comments included: “Come on guys, you’ve had your fun. Let someone else do the Trial now, you could inadvertently cause Dean to quit the show if you keep voting him in.”
Dean has been voted to take part in tomorrow’s trial alongside McFly’s Danny Jones and newcomers Maura Higgins and Reverend Richard Coles. It will be his fourth consecutive trial.
