Viewers said “make it stop” as they reacted to a development on TV’s toughest entertainment challenge
I’m A Celebrity fans were frustrated with Ant and Dec’s announcement at the end of last night’s show. The presenters have once again travelled Down Under to front season 24 of ITV’s toughest entertainment challenge.
The hosts have welcomed a new batch of 12 celebrities into the Australian camp to see who will be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle. Ant and Dec ended last night’s episode by entering the camp by revealing which star would be competing in Thursday’s Bushtucker Trial.
They confirmed the public had voted for Dean McCullough to compete in the Lethal Labs challenge. It is the third consecutive day the Radio 1 presenter will have competed in the challenge as he also competed in Sinister Sarcophagus and Drown in the Dumps.
Fans following the show on social media platform X were frustrated with the vote and said a new rule should be introduced to vary which celebs are taking part in the challenge. Thomas said: “Why do the same people always get chosen over and over again for the trials”

Chelsea added: “Ok.. I’m already bored of watching the same people do the trials in” Jason commented: “Say it every year. I don’t know why campmates who do a trial aren’t exempt from doing the next. It’s so boring watching the same 1 or 2 celebs doing trial after trial.”
Gemma added: “Every single year the British public vote the SAME people for trials!!!” Zoe said: “New rule #imaceleb you can’t vote for the same people to do the trial more than twice in a row. Remove their name from the vote”
Charlotte posted: “They need to change the format on this. It’s the same every year. The same person doing the trials until the public vote on them stops” Robyn said: “Please can we stop voting the same people it’s actually boring now”
Kate said: “DEAR #ImACeleb Please make it a rule the same person can’t do the trial 2 days running” Stephanie said: “Can the public please vote for different people to do these trials. So boring with the same people”
I’m A Celebrity will continue tonight at 9pm on ITV and ITV X. It was confirmed yesterday Maura Higgins and Reverend Richard Coles would be the two late entrants to the camp.
Love Island star Maura can’t to get started in the camp. She said: “This is the only TV show I have ever wanted to do and it’s a real pinch me moment.
“I am ready to step outside my comfort zone. I hope I do make myself proud and I am both excited but also very nervous, because I am scared of absolutely everything. “But I have watched this show for years and it will be nice to get to know Ant & Dec, who I have met on the red carpet before.”
