Shayne Ward left the competition with partner Nancy Xu just before Blackpool Week
Shayne Ward is set to return to the Strictly Come Dancing stage just weeks after being eliminated from the competition. Shayne will join actress Sarah Hadland and athlete Montell Douglas on the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour, which kicks off in January.
The stars, who all competed in the latest series, are the first celebrities announced for the tour, running from January 17 to February 9. The arena tour will open in Birmingham, before visiting cities including Sheffield, Newcastle, Glasgow, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester, and Nottingham, and concluding with shows at London’s O2 Arena.
Montell Douglas, who has wowed viewers alongside professional partner Johannes Radebe this season, shared her excitement about bringing the Strictly magic to live audiences across the UK. She said: “I can’t wait to share the incredible Strictly experience. Strictly fans on tour – are you ready? Bring on January!”

Shayne Ward, who left the competition with partner Nancy Xu just before Blackpool Week, is equally excited to join the tour. He said: “I’ve sung in many of these venues before, so I know the amazing atmosphere arena audiences bring. I’m buzzing to get on the road and see all the fans there.”
Fans of the singer and actor, who rose to fame after winning The X Factor, were thrilled at the announcement, with many expressing their joy on social media.
One Instagram user said: “So thrilled to see @shaynetward on the tour!!” while another added: “Yay, so glad Shayne is doing it—he left too early.” Aileen Clerkin shared: “I’m so happy Shayne is joining, especially when he left too soon.”
The Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour promises to bring the glitz, glamour, and high-energy performances of the TV series to audiences nationwide.
