Tony Bellew finished as runner-up in last year’s edition of I’m A Celebrity
Tony Bellew has issued advice to Coleen Rooney ahead of her time in the jungle. This week, Coleen was confirmed to be heading into the I’m A Celebrity jungle after weeks of speculation.
In an interview with Best Offshore Sportsbooks, fellow Liverpudlian Tony Bellew has offered support and advice to Coleen and says he will be “rooting” for her. The former professional boxer, who finished as runner-up in last year’s edition of the show said: “I saw Coleen recently. If she’s to go in, she has obviously got my best wishes and I’m wishing her all the very best. We’ve just got to wait now and see where she’s at and how she does.”

Ahead of her jungle experience, the mum-of-four took to social media to share a goodbye message and shut down fake rumours that have been circulating. Coleen said: “There’s been a lot of news saying I can’t do trials because of certain illnesses, but I can confirm I can do every trial so I’m not excluded for any. That was just a load of rubbish.”
Discussing her reasons for signing up to the show, she added: “I’ve always said no and put it off because the kids have been young and I’ve had quite a lot on. But this year, I thought, I quite fancy doing it.”
Tony has urged the city to get behind Coleen, he added: “She’s a crafty girl. She’s a proper Scouser and everyone should be behind her from my city and not just from my city, from everywhere, because she’s one of the best people you could wish to know. A brilliant mother. She’s on top of the kids. Our kids both play in academies so we come across each other often. I’m rooting for her 100%.”
