A man also died in the crash and two others were seriously injured
The family of a mum who was killed in a horror crash have issued a tribute to her. Jayne Green, 42, from Warrington was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a crash on the A56 Chester Road, Walton in Warrington on Sunday, November 10.
Police were called to the main road at 6.08pm after a report of a crash involving a white Seat Leon and a silver Nissan Note. The driver of the Seat, a 65-year-old man, and the rear seat passenger of the Nissan, Jayne Green, died at the scene.
Two other passengers in the Nissan were taken to hospital with serious injuries. In a tribute, Jayne’s family said: “Jayne who is a mother, sister, daughter, and partner will be sadly missed by friends and family.”

Cheshire Police said the family have requested privacy at “a time of deep sadness”, while they support other family members who were travelling in the same car and are receiving specialist medical treatment for serious injuries. The Daresbury Expressway was also closed at the Chester Road junction following the incident.
Drivers were being urged to avoid the area and find an alternative route. Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews released six casualties that were trapped in two cars. Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam or CCTV should contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 1960086.
