Pictures captured the aftermath of a two-car crash that closed part of the road outside Aldi. Emergency services were called to East Prescot Road after reports of a crash involving a Volkswagen and an Alfa Romeo at around 4.15pm on Wednesday, November 6.
Photos taken at the scene show extensive damage to both vehicles. The road was partially closed while the incident was dealt with. Police confirmed no major injuries were sustained.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “We received a report of a two vehicle RTC involving a Volkswagen and an Alfa Romeo. We were called at 4.15pm and the vehicles are waiting recovery. No reports of any major injuries.”
