The fire broke out in a ground floor room
A fire broke out late last night at a business in Vauxhall. Photographs from the scene show firefighters tackling the blaze at a chartered accountants office on the corner of Phillips Street and Vauxhall Road.
Emergency services were called just after 10.30pm after reports of a fire in a ground floor room of the large building. Fire crews extinguished the flames after isolating the electrics.
No injuries were reported. We do not have any further information on the cause of the fire at this stage. A spokesperson for Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service said: “Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service attended an incident at Vauxhall Road, Liverpool, in the late hours of November 2. Crews were alerted at 22:32 and two fire engines were on scene shortly after.

“Crews arrived to find a two-storey building with a fire in a ground floor room. Electrics were isolated and two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. Once extinguished, crews ventilated the property with fans before leaving the scene.”
