Latest Liverpool transfer news and gossip with updates on Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres and Wolves defender Rayan Ait-Nouri
Liverpool continue to be linked with several potential new signings ahead of the January transfer window. With November officially underway, the Reds have less than two months to wait before they are able to add players to their squad via the transfer market in the New Year.
Federico Chiesa was the only new addition to Liverpool’s squad last summer, with the Reds having a quiet window ahead of Arne Slot’s first season as head coach. Giorgi Mamardashvili was also signed from Valencia but will spend the campaign on loan with the La Liga club before moving to Anfield at the end of the season.
It remains to be seen what transfer business Liverpool plan to get over the line when the window opens in January. Despite the uncertainty, it has not stopped speculation that the Reds could be set for a busy month with new signings.

Liverpool are continuing to be linked with a move for Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres. Reports in recent days have claimed that the Reds have an interest in signing the Sweden international.
According to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, Liverpool are one of four Premier League clubs currently considering a move to sign Gyokeres. The Reds are joined by Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City in showing an interest in signing the 26-year-old striker, with Manchester United also a potential destination.
It has been reported that Gyokeres will be available to leave Sporting next summer if a fee worth between €60 million (£50 million) and €70 million (£59 million) is offered. The striker has scored 19 goals in 16 appearances so far for Sporting this season, including a hat-trick on Friday night against Estrela Amadora.
Elsewhere, Liverpool are being linked with a move for Wolves defender Rayan Ait-Nouri. According to Give Me Sport, the Reds will battle Man United for the signing of the left-back.
It has been claimed that the Reds will ramp up their interest in signing Ait-Nouri in January, although it remains to be seen if an offer will be made when the transfer window opens in the New Year. The 23-year-old is reportedly keen on a fresh challenge and could seek a move away from Molineux in 2025, with Liverpool apparently looking to sign a player to succeed Andy Robertson at left-back.
