A man has shared what he received in his Too Good To Go order from a Toby Carvery breakfast buffet for less than £3, and people online seem to be seriously impressed
A savvy diner has showcased the impressive haul he got from a Too Good To Go bag at Toby Carvery, and social media users say they are “jealous”. The world’s biggest marketplace for surplus food, Too Good To Go pairs eateries with diners eager to save money and reduce food waste.
People can buy mystery bags containing food items that will have otherwise gone to waste, meaning you can bag some real bargains using the app. And TikTok user @lifeatgully couldn’t wait to share his bargain experience after grabbing a Too Good To Go bag from Toby Carvery in Loughborough – for a mere £2.79.

In his video, he shared that what he snagged was advertised as a “breakfast surprise bag”. He realised that there was actually a breakfast buffet on when he entered the popular pub chain. One of the staff members explained how they were going to fill up the mystery box with buffet items.
When he was handed the box, he took it outside and opened it up while sitting on a wall in the car park, unable to wait to find out what was inside. And the contents seemed worth it. He revealed a large portion of breakfast treats including egg, hash browns, bacon, sausage, and mushrooms. His only complaint was that it appeared to have “more grease than the actual musical”.

He asked people to comment whether they thought it was worth it for £2.79. “That’s far bigger and better then what I had when I got one couple days ago,” one person said. Another wrote: “Oosh that looks good, beats my Weetabix.”
A third commenter said they were “jealous” of the haul, as several others branded it a “good deal”. One more said: “I’d have eaten that with my fingers if I had no cutlery!”
