Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Nottingham Forest defender Murillo. According to TEAMtalk, the Reds will battle Chelsea for the centre-back’s signature when the transfer window is open next summer rather than in January.
The report claims that Liverpool have identified Murillo as a potential replacement for Virgil van Dijk, who is out of contract at the end of the season. It has been claimed that Murillo has emerged as a “top” target for the Reds thanks to his performances with Forest, with the Anfield hierarchy set to monitor the defender over the remainder of the season.
Elsewhere, Liverpool are also reportedly interested in signing Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz. According to Caught Offside, the Reds will battle Arsenal for the Turkey international’s signature, who reportedly view Yildiz as a possible option to compete with Bukayo Saka.
Liverpool, however, reportedly view Yildiz as a possible successor for Mohamed Salah, who is out of contract in the summer of 2025. The 19-year-old recently signed a new deal with Juventus that saw him commit his future with the Serie A club until 2029.
