Jennifer Aniston has paid a heartfelt tribute to Matthew Perry marking one year since his tragic death in 2023. Matthew, who played Chandler Bing in the iconic sitcom, was found unresponsive at his Los Angeles home on Saturday, October 28 last year.
In an emotional tribute on Instagram, Jennifer shared four pictures of Matthew with her 44.8m followers, including an intimate still from the hit series Friends and a photo of the Friends cast sharing a group hug. Jennifer captioned the post: ‘One year’ with a bandaged heart and white dove emojis.
Fans rushed to give their support for the actress. One user wrote: “He became a beautiful angel and is watching over you! He loved you very much.” Another commented: “I love u guys always n forever. Thank you for all of the great memories for this generation.”

A third said: “Every time I see you the stars from Friends post him it makes me cry because I can’t imagine the beautiful bond all those years. My heart feels so heavy for all friends cast.”
Others were in disbelief it has already been a year since the star’s death. One fan said: “Stop it. It hasn’t been a year already,” and another added: “This has just blown my mind that it’s a year. He will always be special and we will always keep him in our hearts.”
