The 28-year-old left the hospital in the early hours of Sunday, October 20, before she was found at around 8.35am. Her mum, Davinia Lloyd, paid tribute to her daughter almost a week on from her death, she said: “She was so clever and talented artistically, whether that was musically, painting, everything she turned her hand to.
“She was talented at a multitude of things. She spent a lot of years in the mental health system and one person even said how she helped save her life. That’s the type of person she was.”
Charlotte was born in Southport and moved to Wales before settling in Fazarkarley for the last eight years. Since the tribute was published on the ECHO website, people who knew Charlotte left messages of condolence and tributes on Facebook to her.
Shannon Kinsella wrote: “Charlotte was such a lovely, caring, funny and kind girl. Goodnight God bless Charlotte.” Kimberley Jones-Berry said: “Lovely girl spoke to her a few times. Rest in peace Charlotte. No more suffering.”
“Both tragic and heartbreaking. What a beautiful girl. Sending love and strength and prayers to family and friends. May she rest in peace,” Julie Brandham commented.
Rachel Williams said: “Sending all my love to Charlotte’s mum family and friends. The system is truly broken for this my heart breaks. Such a sad thing to read.”
Davinia said following her daughter’s death people have been in touch to say how much of a caring person her daughter was. She added: “She’s found peace now and I think that’s the most important. She touched a lot of people’s lives and there was a network of people who knew her. We just hope she has found peace.”
Davinia confirmed the family are waiting on a post mortem examination and an inquest is expected to take place. A Merseyside Police spokesperson said at the time: “We can confirm officers were called to a field near Stoney Lane/Hemmingsway in Rainhill this morning, Sunday October 20, following the sad discovery of the body of a woman.
“Officers were contacted by a member of the public at just after 8.35am. At this time the death is being treated as unexplained but there are not currently believed to be any suspicious circumstances. Enquiries are ongoing to formally identify the woman and inform her next of kin.”
