The 34-year-old is due to appear in court
A man was seen chasing down the recovery truck which had impounded an illegally parked vehicle. On Monday, October 21, two vehicles, including a Citroen Berlingo van, were towed away after being found parked on zig zag lines on Breck Road in Anfield.
After a man chased after the recovery truck, police smelt alcohol. He subsequently failed a breath test and was arrested.
Merseyside Police said Sean Molloy, 34, of Oleander Way, in Walton, has now been charged with drink driving. He has since been bailed and is due to appear at South Sefton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, November 21.
