A lamppost could be seen on the floor near the crash
Police, fire and ambulance were called to the Strand after a car crash. Merseyside Police were called to the junction of Liver Street and Strand Street at around 2.35pm on Sunday, October 20.
All emergency services attended the scene where a car appeared to have crashed on to the pavement. A lamppost could be seen on the floor. Merseyside Police said the crash involved a single car.
A spokesperson for force said it was unknown if anyone was injured, but that the crash did not appear to be serious. The Strand remained open and cars were able to move freely while emergency services dealt with the incident.
