Strictly Come Dancing’s Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal could make the final, body language and behavioural expert Darren Stanton has claimed
Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal rehearse for Strictly Come Dancing
Pete Wicks has what it takes to waltz his way to the Strictly Come Dancing 2024 final, according to body language and behavioural guru Darren Stanton.
The popular TV personaly wowed viewers last weekend dressed as George of the Jungle for his Samba routine. It was a performance that tied in with the BBC show’s Movie Week theme.
His dance got judges raving and earned him his highest score yet, amassing 26 points out of 40. Despite this success, bookies have named Pete and his dance partner Jowita Przystal among those likely to leave the show next.
Body language maestro Darren, however, has backed Pete for a place in the finale, even with the odds stacking up against him just hours ahead of another critical performance.
Speaking to Betfair Slots, Stanton commented: “Pete Wicks has a very good chance at making the final already. He’s definitely shown he’s capable of anything, and at this stage, that’s very promising.”, reports Birmingham Live.
“He could potentially win. He and Jowita have a very strong connection and you can see that from the way they communicate is effortless through physical touches, eye contact and general synchronisation.”
Darren didn’t just share his insights on Pete’s prospects; he also predicted that EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick and dance partner Michelle Tsiakkas might be the ones to exit the stage this weekend.
He further commented: “I believe Jamie and Michelle will be in trouble this week. While they seem strong as a pairing in terms of their level of rapport, which continues to build, the judges will be less and less forgiving of small technical faults.”
“We are seeing the judges become more critical and picky when it comes to their routines. Jamie’s levels of confidence are slipping. I’m not seeing what it takes to get through to the latter point of the competition, they’re not quite as well-connected as some of the other couples higher up the leaderboard.”
