Liverpool also reportedly have Monaco star Vanderson under consideration ahead of the summer transfer window. The right-back has been linked with Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in recent months and has impressed in Ligue 1 over the last 18 months.
Fiorentina star Michael Kayode is also mentioned in the report as being a player of interest to Liverpool. The 20-year-old made 37 appearances for the Serie A club last season and has been tipped for a bright future.
Alexander-Arnold is not the only Liverpool player whose contract expires at the end of the season. Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk also see their current deals run out next summer, with talks still underway with all three players and their representatives.
