Many have been unable to access their emails
Email service Yahoo Mail has gone down across the globe, leaving users unable to access their emails. Reports of an outage started hitting the Down Detector website at around 7pm, and seems to mainly be affecting the app.
Many have taken to social media to post about the outage, the Daily Star reports. One user posted to X, formerly Twitter: “Yahoo mail users — is anyone else having trouble signing in to Yahoo mail? I tried the mobile app and also the webmail, and both show my inbox for a second and then shut down.”
The issue mainly seems to be with the iOS app, although other users had reported being locked out of their accounts on the Android version, too. A second user wrote: “The problem is I am unable to login to my yahoo mail the reason I do not no, my mobile number is linked with it, even after I tried using OTP for verification it isn’t working please check.”
