West-Derby born comedian Chris McCausland recently shared how much he has been enjoying his Strictly Come Dancing experience after scoring 30 points with his Wayne’s World-inspired performance with professional partner Diane Buswell in Movie Week. Chris and Dianne appeared dressed as the film’s main characters in last weekend’s episode, with judge Craig Revel-Horwood praising the performance of the two. He described the dance as being ”packed full of fantastic rhythm.”
Posting to social media yesterday, October 8, the dance duo took to Instagram in their latest instalment of the ‘CHRIS DIAnneRIES’. the pair are still recovering from an eventful weekend with Dianne saying: ”We both look like absolute s**t, I’ve even tried to make us look better by putting some fancy lights on us.”

Chris added: ”Many people out there are probably thinking what’s happened to them have they fallen out, has Chris had enough of Dianne? Has Dianne had enough of Chris. We like each other honest, don’t we Di?” with Dianne adding ”we are best friends”
Speaking about the dance routines the pair have performed up until this point Dianne thinks they are going from a really fast dance to an even faster dance. Looking ahead to this weekend’s dance Chris described the routine as nuts, saying: ”I mean I thought the jive was nuts but now were in the salsa I was expecting a little step down, a little relax it is insane” The Strictly dancers discussed how good Saturday was and thanked fans for the votes
Praising the comedian Dianne revealed that Chris is excelling all expectations and what he is doing is ”blowing” ‘her mind. The scouser was told he looked ”fantastic” as Wayne by judge Craig Revel-Horwood on Saturday.
Chris told Dianne ”apparently I look like Lewis Capaldi” to which the Australian professional dancer replied ”do you know you do have a Lewis Capaldi look” Chris admitted he did not know what Lewis Capaldi looks like and had to ask Dianne what his look was in the hope he was ‘devilishly good looking.” Dianne told Chris she thinks he ”looks great” and that he looked great as Wayne.
