Croft appeared in court today and has been remanded in custody
Officers from Project Medusa have charged a man with drug offences in Wirral. Officers stopped a vehicle on Church Terrace in Tranmere yesterday (October 8) after they spotted a man acting suspiciously as he got into a taxi.
Police searched the passenger and found 70 wraps which were they believed to contain controlled drugs. The operation was part of Merseyside Police-led Project Medusa, which targets drugs gangs across the UK.
Today (October 9), officers have charged Alan Croft, 50, of Church Terrace, Tranmere with possession of heroin and cocaine with intent to supply. Croft appeared in court today and has been remanded in custody.
