Latest Liverpool news and gossip as the Reds have four players out of contract in 2025 including Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah
Liverpool have several players nearing the end of their contracts, with three in particular generating headlines with the speculation around the future. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah are all out of contract at the end of the season and it remains to be seen if any of the trio will sign extensions.
Talks remain ongoing with Liverpool and all three players ahead of the summer of 2025, where they will all currently become free agents as things stand. The next few months will be crucial to see if any of Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk or Salah show any signs of putting pen to paper on fresh terms.
Liverpool are also in talks to hand new deals to Ibrahima Konate and Jarell Quansah, with both players stepping up to be key players at centre-back for the Reds over the last 18 months. Konate’s deal expires in 2026, while Quansah’s contract does not run out until 2027, but the Reds are keen to reward the duo for their importance to the team.
