Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has revealed to Dominik Szoboszlai what his daughter said to him after his recent transformation. The Brazilian shot-stopper has opted for daring looks during his time at Anfield and recently captured the attention after shaving his beard off.
The Reds‘ number one has been one of the key figures behind the recent success at Anfield as he has been the driving force from the back to establish himself as one of the best in the Premier League and also, the world. After a recent injury problem, which forced him to miss the win over AFC Bournemouth, Alisson returned between the stick for Saturday’s 2-1 win over Wolves.

During his encounter with Szoboszlai, with the Hungarian inspecting the change, the 31-year-old detailed the ruthless dig from his daughter after he braved the shave. He said: “My daughter is saying, ‘you are now my brother’.
“Daddy looks like a kid.”

“My faith in God makes me work hard and better and want to be the best in what I do because I believe everything I do is a way to praise God. Winning trophies and awards makes me happy, but my motivation comes from inside, my family.
“The main part is hard work. I always like to improve myself. When I do a season that is my best season, this is the standard I need to go further.”
